Eureka Police Search for Suspect Involved in Early Morning Stabbing at Del Norte Pier | Lost Coast Outpost

The Eureka Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred this morning on the Del Norte Pier. The suspect remains at large.

Reached for additional information this afternoon, EPD spokeswoman Laura Montagna told the Outpost There was a “violent altercation” on the platform shortly before 11 a.m. “Investigators are still on scene and working on the scene,” she said. “There was physical violence with some kind of tool, but it was not a knife.”

Montagna could not provide any information on the victim's condition, confirming only that he had been taken to hospital.
