Colorado Springs wildfire brings grass fire under control near Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs firefighters responded to a grass fire near Star Ranch Road and Kincaid Ct.

Smoke is visible in the area.

A PIO at the scene told News5 that due to the nature and location of the fire, the cause of this grass fire will be further investigated.

By 5:30 p.m., the fire was under control and extinguished.

No structures were damaged.

No injuries were reported.
